I left this comment on OLD PARKED CARS September 16, 2013......... I love the 68 Mercury Cougar..... There was a guy who went to Nyack college (Rockland County New York) that was selling this same model car for $800 in 1989. I needed a few months to come up with the money and by the time I did he was no longer interested in selling it to me and he sold it to somebody else. A short time later I heard that the new owner had an accident with the cougar and it ended up being wrapped around a tree.... To this day I really long for buying that car I wish he would've sold it to me It was white with black interior and it was a nice car... It was original,unrestored....
