Now _that_ is a great car. Seeing old cars like this is illuminating, because it shows the change in aesthetic. Today, the car looks awkward and strange (particularly in the profile shot, with the short front overhang and long rear) but at the time it was ordinary and well accepted.
I used to own this exact model in 1989-ish. I lived in West Seattle and went to West Seattle High School. My dad bought this for me as my first car from Goodwill for $300. All in all it was a great little car, very simple, rear wheel drive and 4 speed manual.
